Description
This is a notice of intent that AFMC AFSC/PZAAC anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Commercial Sole Source Spare Acquisition. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Type Acquisition for a One-Time Buy of the TEST SET, FUEL CTRL. The NSN is: 4920-01-590-6791KU. The P/N is: PSD90S-F16. The Quantity is One (1) Each. The Test Set is a Fuel Quantity Interface used on the F-16A/B/C/D Aircraft to perform complete functional check of the fuel system. The test system is used to calibrate and troubleshoot the fuel quantity measuring system and level sensing system. This acquisition is Sole Source to: Aeroflex Wichita, Inc. (Cage Code: 51190). Delivery will be 60 Days After Receipt of Contract. Early Delivery is acceptable. The issue date for the Solicitation will be approximately18 March 2015 with a Proposal Due Date of 2 April 2015. The RFQ will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offeror(s) may contact Ombudsman Ms. Kim McDonald at 478-222-1088.
