Description
The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to change the date of the site visit as well as other site visit information. The due date and time for quotations remains unchanged. 1. The site visit information is hereby changed to read as follows: SITE VISIT A SITE VISIT shall take place on MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2015, at 9:30 AM EASTERN TIME. The site visit shall begin promptly at 9:30 AM. Attendees must be in the NIST Visitor's Center by 9:15 AM. After clearance by the Visitor's Center, attendees shall proceed to Building 202. Attendees shall convene at NIST, Building 202, Room 107-108, 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The site visit shall allow quoters to view the hubs and their location. Potential quoters are strongly encouraged to attend site visit. In no event shall failure to inspect the instrument constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. If required, an amendment including questions and answers shall be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. Quoters are advised that the terms and conditions of the solicitation remain the same unless changed by amendment. SITE VISIT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS Because of heightened security, quoters who are planning to attend the site visit shall e-mail their intention to attend to Carol Wood, at carol.wood@nist.gov, not later than 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2015, with the following information: 1) Company name 2) Names of all individuals attending the site visit 3) Confirmation that attendee is a US Citizen.* *Due to time associated with registering non-US Citizens, only US citizens must attend the site visit. Failure to register will result in individuals being denied access to NIST, and subsequently, the site visit. It is the sole responsibility of each quoter to register for the site visit in advance. Attendees must pick up a Visitor's Badge at the Visitor's Registration Center located at the Main Gate (Gate A, off Bureau Drive). Please ensure all individuals bring photo identification and vehicle registration or they will be denied access to the facility. Effective July 21, 2014, under the REAL ID Act of 2005, agencies, including NIST, can only accept a state-issued driver's license or identification card for access to federal facilities if issued by states that are REAL ID compliant or have an extension. Drivers' licenses from the following states and territories will NOT be accepted for entry to NIST: American Samoa, Arizona, Louisiana, Maine, and Oklahoma. Accommodations cannot be made for attendees that are not in the NIST Visitor's Center by 9:15 AM.
