CONTINUATION PAGE Questions and Answers for RFP VA786-15-R-0095 1.Would a site survey be provided to us? Answer: Contractor is required to perform the site survey (page 68 of solicitation / attachment J) 2.Would the contractor be required to provide the ground density testing? Answer: Ground density testing is not mentioned in the specification 3.Requested inspection pit; it that required on each grave site? Answer: Yes (total of 6,300 gravesites) 4.Regarding # 0004-fabricate and install 10 permanent control markers: there is no description of what this is. Please provide. Answer: page 30 of solicitation - refer to control marker diagram 5.Copper pins referred to in # 0004; is contractor responsible for providing these? Answer: Yes, Contractor is required to provide as a part of the control marker provision / installation 6.Is the concrete poured into the trench or do you want a separate form? Answer: Concrete is typical construction industry cast-in-place reinforced concrete and form work, reinforcement, etc. is required in order to achieve the SOW specified tight tolerances. In accordance with the SOW, any concrete placed that is outside of specified tolerances, shall be replaced at the Contractor's expense. END
