- This IS NOT a request for bids, quotes, or proposal. This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. Interested parties of any size may submit a response to this notice. Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a need to procure and install two (2) new Electronic Vertical Storage Units at the Western Currency Facility located in Ft. Worth, TX. Contractor shall also have the capability to provide training during three (3) shifts and equipment warranty. Desired Features and Benefits: • Minimum tray size of 96"x 34" • Minimum number of Light Capacity Trays-14 • Maximum load capacity of 147,700 pounds (loaded weight) • Lifting speed of at least 157.50 ft/min. • Maximum load per tray-794 lbs. • Folding table for manual full tray extension • Automatic full tray extension • Transport Cart • Swivel for Operator Panel • Position indicator with LED's • TIC (Transaction Information Center) • Confirmation Bar • Maximum of six (6) access openings per unit • Double access function • Tray locking mechanism • Two piece shutter door • Tray stop in front of access opening INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1. Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, ALL applicable NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large), company's socioeconomics (i.e., woman-owned, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.) and DUNS Number. 2. A detailed narrative of your firm's capability to provide and install vertical storage untis. Responses shall be e-mailed to gladys.wilks@bep.gov. Telephone responses will NOT be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 23 March 2015, 5:00p.m. (EST). NO CAPABILITY STATEMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED AFTER 23 March 2015. AT THIS TIME NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. (DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION). A FUTURE NOTICE MAY BE POSTED IF A SOLICITATION IS RELEASED.
