- Description
- Missile Defense Agency - 09 March Contract Announcement Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama is being awarded a competitive, cost reimbursement contract. The total value of this contract is $589,132. Under this new contract, the contractor will research, develop, demonstrate, and leverage higher-order synergies between Model-Driven Engineering (MDE), Intelligent Agent Technology, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Feature-Oriented Variability Modeling to support development of a generative domain architecture and software system for model-driven experiment management. The work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama with an estimated completion date of March 8, 2018. This contract was competitively procured via publication on the Federal Business Opportunities website under the MDA's Broad Agency Announcement for Advanced Technology Innovation (ATI); HQ0147-13-ATI-BAA. Fiscal year 2015 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation funds in the amount of $193,861 are being obligated on this award. In accordance with FAR 35.006 (c), the use of a cost reimbursement contract for this research and development effort is appropriate. This is not a Foreign Military Sales acquisition.
