- Tower Specification This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items will be followed. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-15-Q-0910. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. This RFQ is being advertised as a 100% small business set aside. NAICS Code is 334220. Size standard is 750 employees. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items on a Firm Fixed Price basis. These items will be ordered under three separate CLINs as shown below: CLIN ITEM DESCRIPTION Qty. Total Value (FFP) 0001 Portable Tower System 2ea 0002 Training 1 0003 Shipping and Handling 1 Total Contract Price Required delivery is 18 weeks after award (earliest delivery is preferred). Partial shipments are authorized. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, FL. All timely offers will be considered. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. In order to be determined acceptable the offeror shall demonstrate its capability to meet each of the requirements of the specification sheet. The offeror may address this requirement in any form it deems appropriate for evaluation by the Government. Quotes/proposals shall be limited to 25 pages. Evaluation is low cost technically acceptable. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply. DFARS clause 252.211-7003, Unique Item Identifier (UID) will apply. Full text of incorporated FAR/DFARS Clauses and provisions are available at: www.acquisition.gov/far/. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: none. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information: point of contact (including phone number and email address), contractor cage code, and contractor DUNS.
