- Sources Sought Notice The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) is seeking sources to provide intraoperative neuromonitoring services in support of the Naval Medical Center (NMC) San Diego, CA. The contractor shall provide intraoperative neuromonitoring services for surgical cases requiring live intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring and evoked potential services. Service is required for a variety of surgical cases, including hearing loss, general and vascular surgery, spinal surgery, etc. The Contractor shall be prepared to provide service on up to three cases at the same time. Service is required, as requested, for scheduled and emergency procedures. Service for elective procedures will be provided Monday through Friday, exclusive of Federal holidays, from 0900 through 1700 hours. A list of procedures will be provided approximately 14 calendar days in advance for scheduled procedures. Service for emergency procedures shall be provided at any time Monday through Sunday, including after hours, weekends and Federal holidays. Notification will be provided no more than 48 hours in advance of the need for an emergency procedure. The contractor shall furnish all equipment and supplies necessary to provide the services described above. The estimated period of performance is a base year with four one-year option periods. This sources sought notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work. Capability statements shall not exceed 5 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source contract. Capability statements are due by 10:00 AM Local Time, 26 March 2015. Capability statements shall be submitted by e-mail ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to the following address: rachel.a.turk2.civ@mail.mil.
