Description
This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency (FAR 6.302-5); specifically, Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 22000 Mountain View Club Sports Bar. This remodel demolishes the existing bar service area in its entirety. The current bar service area is dated and does not match the style of adjacent areas of the establishment. All new finishes and casework shall be provided throughout the bar service area to provide a more elevated look to include non-skid porcelain floor tile, wall texture and paint, bar top and bar casework. A new liquor displaying area shall be provided behind the bar area. The new bar service area shall be relocated to the southwest corner of the room (see conceptual floor plan). Provide lockable shutters to enclose the display area and back counter area in its entirety to secure the area when it is being used for other purposes. An existing window that is in conflict with where the new bar service area will be located shall be framed over on the interior side to match existing wall conditions. The window itself shall remain to be visible from the exterior of the facility. Apply an opaque film on the inside surface of the glass to obscure the new wall construction.
