DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) DENVER ACQUISITION AND LOGISTICS CENTER (DALC) REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS PROJECT: Maintenance for (Autobag) Automated Packaging Systems Inc. equipment BACKGROUND: The Denver Acquisition and Logistics Center (DALC) is located in Golden, Colorado and is conducting market research and seeking information from all interested vendors regarding the availability of a commercial service(s) described in this Request For Information (RFI). This is NOT a request for quotes or request for proposals. RFI Responses are not offers and cannot be accepted by VA to form a binding contract. The VA will not award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for information requested and submitted in response to this RFI. INFORMATION REQUESTED AND QUESTIONS TO BE ADDRESSED A list of questions is provided below. Please answer all questions completely. The vendor is encouraged to provide any additional information that it believes would be useful to the VA. 1. Does your company (distributor or otherwise) provide for the Golden, Colorado area Technician(s) certified (and current) by the manufacturer of the equipment, to provide preventive maintenance and/or repair maintenance (to include emergency services) for all of the following packaging devices and/or equipment: (1) Two, Automated Packaging Systems (APS) HS100 Excel Baggers (2) Two, Automated Packaging Systems (APS) PI4000 Thermal Imprinters (3) Two, Automated Packaging Systems (APS) AB 255 OneSteps 2. If your company offers these services for all of the listed equipment by APS factory-certified technicians please provide information regarding the maintenance services your company provides along with the a description of your terms, conditions and conditions. 3. If your company offers these services for all of the listed equipment by APS factory-certified technicians please indicate if you also provide parts. Please provide a list of repair/replacement parts your company maintains for repairs. 4. Please identify: a. Is your company established as a United States business? b. Regarding the size of your company, is it a small business? (U.S. Small Business Administration small business size standard for NAICS 811310 is set in dollars as a business with average annual receipts of $7.5 million or less) c. Vendors must identify any proprietary information in their responses. Identified proprietary materials will neither be distributed to nor discussed with any other vendor. The Government is not obligated to provide comments to vendor RFI submissions. The Government will not pay for information solicited by, or submitted in response to this RFI, nor will it recognize or reimburse any costs whatsoever associated with any RFI submission. Therefore, the Government recommends that vendors submit electronic versions of, or web links to, previously prepared presentations, documentation, white papers, and other relevant information. In any event, as noted above, the Government, will not pay for information solicited by or submitted in response to this RFI, nor will it recognize or reimburse any costs whatsoever associated with any RFI submission.
