- The Office of the Grant Management and Oversight (GMO) within the Office of Strategic Planning and Management (OSPM) of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will be hosting a Small Business Event on April 28th, 2015 at HUD Headquarters, 451 7th Street SW, Washington, DC 20410 10:00am - 12:00PM. The GMO is responsible for strengthening internal controls and enhancing management integrity across HUD's programs; improving management efficiencies by streamlining grants processes and procedures not only within HUD but across all Federal programs in conjunction with the other 26 Federal grant-making agencies; facilitating the move to e-Government; and increasing transparency for results achieved in HUD's competitive grant programs.. The GMO is responsible for developing the General Section to HUD's annual Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA); ensuring consistency of HUD's NOFAs with HUD's strategic goals and policies, developing performance models for each competitive program; and working with the 26 other federal grant making agencies to simplify and streamline grants management practices across the Federal government consistent with the intent of Public Law 106-107, the Federal Financial Assistance Management Improvement Act of 1999 and the more recent Federal Financial Assistance Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006. GMO works closely with program offices in reviewing and analyzing results achieved in HUD's programs with the goal of increasing the effectiveness of HUD's program delivery and accountability without placing undue burden on the grantee community. GMO seeks qualified small businesses that have capabilities in the following areas: Grant Life Cycle Management Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) - Creation and Review Application Review and Management - Application review process management Performance Evaluation Metrics - Baseline, consolidation, correlation Outreach - Internal and external stakeholders IT Solutions Performance Data Collection - End user collection tool Micro Strategies - Reporting tools Business Solutions Consolidation of Grant Management System - Eliminating the number grant management systems Consolidating FOA and Application review procedures - Creating an agency approach to specific grant lifecycle functions GAP analysis of current grant management business processes - Requirements gathering Cost analysis of current grant management systems - Sunk cost - Forecasted costs Please use the following link to register: http://www.hud.gov/emarc/index.cfm?fuseaction=emar.registerEvent&eventId=2379&update=N Please only register for the April 30th event if your company can perform the services detailed above.
