Description
United States Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma Refuse & Recycle Services Refuse and Recycling Services for Training Center Petaluma, CA with a base and four (4) one year option periods. The acquisition is a Firm Fixed Price contract with indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery work. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 562111 - Solid Waste Collection applies with a size standard of $38.5 Million. The requirements of the Service Contract Labor Standard apply. Materials to be collected consist of (but are not limited to): kitchen waste, paper, rags, cloth, cans, bottles, boxes, cartons, crates, worn-out household articles, newspapers and magazines, grass and other cuttings, tree branches and other articles of similar nature. Also included is construction debris such as pipe, concrete block, lumber and worn out furniture. Materials not included as part of this contract includes hazardous waste, explosives, bio-hazard waste, edible garbage or other salvageable material (when separated and identified by responsible persons as salvage). Services will include weekly collection of single stream recycling containers and refuse containers in the Training Center housing area as well as 20, 30, and 40 cubic yard containers spread around the Training Center. Cubic yard containers will be used for trash to be emptied once or twice per week and containers for recycling which will be emptied as requested. A government provided trash compactor will be emptied twice per week.
