Presolicitation Notice Cyberknife Site Prep Project: 673-CSI-102 THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE TO VA248-15-R-1072: CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8), Tampa, FL, intends to release Solicitation VA248-15-R-1072, Cyberknife Site Prep of the James A. Haley VA Medical Center located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33612. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Cyberknife Site prep at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida is a project that will facilitate the treatment of patients. The room is a dedicated area where the medical staff can treat patients. This project will entail architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, interior design, and plumbing renovations. Drawings and Specifications will be provided in bid package for this project. General Construction: Provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, specialty services, supervision, and tools to complete CSI Project No. 673-CSI-102 "CYBERKNIFE SITE PREP". Work includes architectural, asbestos abatement, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and interior designs and certain other items of work required by the drawings and specifications. All work is to be completed in 150 calendar days including weekend work and night shift work. NCO 8 anticipates the solicitation will be issued around April 2015, and will be posted only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov). At this time, no solicitation exists. DO NOT REQUEST A SOLICITATION package. The NAICS Code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction). The associated size standard for this procurement is $36.5 million dollars average gross annual receipts for the preceding three years. In accordance with Veterans Affairs (VA) Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 836.204(h), the construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms who are capable of performing the requirements under the categories described in the solicitation when posted. All offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) data base and complete online Reps and Certs at https://www.sam.gov/. All SDVOSB offerors must be verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) in VetBiz at http://www.vetbiz.gov to be eligible for award. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. No bidder list is maintained. All potential bidders should register with Federal Business Opportunities if interested in this acquisition. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE OTHER THAN WHAT IS NOTED HEREIN.
