Description
Request for Information (RFI) for Iraqi Air Force (IqAF) F-16 Engine Maintenance Training AFICA 338 SCONS/PKB, JBSA-Randolph TX is conducting market research to gather information on contractors capable of providing PW-F100-229 Engine Training to the Iraqi Air Force (IqAF). TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION: Training and technology transfer is required by the Iraqi Air Force to train six personnel in intermediate level F-16 PW-F100-220 Engine Maintenance Training. Proposed training will be Contractor, Type 1 Special Training, procured by the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and presented under the auspices of the Security Cooperation Training Program. Training will occur at the Pratt & Whitney facility in East Hartford, Connecticut. All instructions and technical information shall be in the English language. All training shall be based on data available under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program and developed and presented in accordance with (IAW) the country configured equipment. Contractor-provided training will be transition-type training into a skill similar to the skill currently possessed by the student. Basic theory training is not required. Courses shall include elements of PW-F100-229 engine intermediate maintenance in conjunction with the following: Maintenance training shall provide the student with the knowledge and ability to maintain the PW-F100-229 engine at the intermediate maintenance level. The contractor shall provide appropriately scoped intermediate-level training course options providing Iraq with alternates to achieve their training requirements. The contractor shall provide associated course syllabi specifying duration in days. NOTICE: Respondents are advised that data submitted to the Government in response to this RFI may be released to non-government advisors for review and analysis. These advisors may be required to provide advice within their area of expertise. All representatives have signed nondisclosure forms. Non-government advisors will be subject to civil and criminal penalties associated with any release of information pursuant to FAR Part 3.104 procurement integrity violations. If respondent has any objection to non-government advisor access to their response, the respondent shall provide grounds and justification for their objections.
