Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. (b) Although "proposal," "offeror," contractor, and "offeror" may be used in this sources sought notice, any response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) Any information received from a contractor in response to this Sources Sought may be used in creating a solicitation. Any information received which is marked with a statement, such as "proprietary" or "confidential," intended to restrict distribution will not be distributed outside of the Government, except as required by law. (d) This Sources Sought is issued by the VA Hospital in Albany, NY for the purpose of collecting information about the a custom. The VA is seeking Clean-A-Scope ® Tray Custom Transport Carts in two different styles. We currently are utilizing modified endoscopic carts for this purpose. "System must be capable of providing the following: cation and training of staff on the pharmacology of therapeutic hyper/hypothermia. Exterior measurements: 5-tray cart=28.5dx23.5wx41h / 10-tray cart=28.5dx23.5wx59h "Custom Designed/Built Interior Rail measurements: "25.5 inches deep x 17 3/8 wide to hold the (5) or (10) Clean-A-Scope trays ® "Distance between rails to accommodate 5 or 10 trays w/lids respectively. "Stops mounted 4 inches from front edge of rails "Aluminum construction "6" Stainless Steel casters with brake "Cart washer (180oF) compatible "Round recessed door handle "Recessed full-depth handles on each side "Two top-mounted open rails "Fully enclosed cart with locking bi-fold door (90/10 split) "5x7 inch aluminum card holder (e) Contractors that are able to meet the requirements in the attachment are encouraged to email full information to Anthony Murray at Anthony.Murray2@va.gov. - Contractors shall identify the NAICS code for the product being offered as well as their size status under said NAICS. - Contractors shall also identify any Federal Supply Schedules that may carry the desired product. - Contractors shall include any relevant comments about the Attachment(s)
