This Acquisition is for a 100% Set-aside for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS) has a requirement for periodic Legionella sampling of the potable and the non-potable water systems. This request is to support the VHA Directive 1061, "Prevention of Healthcare-Associated Legionella Disease and Scald Industry from Potable Water Distribution Systems", which describes the frequency and testing procedures for the prevention of a Legionaries disease outbreak.
