Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to enter into an "other than full and open competition", single source agreement with Rogers Machinery for the purchase of a Quincy model QSVI-40 Medical Vacuum Pump, Removal of old pump, Installation of new pump and the certification of the new pump as required by National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 99 Health Care Facilities Code. This is a Brand Name Only procurement and Rogers Machinery is the only authorized dealer for the Quincy model medical vacuum pump. This is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b)(i), soliciting from a single source. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Seattle VA Medical Center 1660 S. Columbian Way Seattle, WA 98108 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action.
