- Peculiar Support Equipment List The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with The Boeing Company, 7755 E Marginal Way S, Seattle Washington, for the procurement of Training, Technical Manuals and other technical data in support of the P-8A Poseidon Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), PMA-290. This will include the procurement of proprietary engineering and other technical data for the peculiar support equipment on the P-8A. This procurement is for Proof Load testing procedures and specifications including drawings, Technical manuals for depot and intermediate level maintenance and training materials for the Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) in the attached document. Under the authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to issue a sole source contract to The Boeing Company as this company is considered the only responsible source capable to provide the required manuals and training. The Government does not own the technical data required to competitively award this requirement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. Responses should reference N00019-11-G-0001-4Y01.
