- ****THE POINT OF CONTACT FOR THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS JOSH STILES/ARCS FOR ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS REGARDING THIS NOTICE PLEASE CONTACT JOSH AT JOSHUA.B.STILES@NASA.GOV.**** NASA/MSFC has a requirement for ImaGen and iHawk Hardware Maintenance Agreements. NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Concurrent Computer Corporation (CCC). CCC provides the ImaGen systems and iHawk systems with their proprietary RedHawk Linux real-time operating system as well as the certification for these systems. CCC also provides peripheral input/output (I/O) devices and their drivers associated with these systems. They guarantee the real-time performance of these systems and their peripheral I/O hardware meets the Integrated Avionics Test Facilities (IATF) specific requirements. The IATF labs are integral to the SLS avionics system. Their established and documented compatibility shall be maintained. No vendor other than CCC can provide the maintenance for the ImaGen and iHawk systems as well as the peripheral I/O devices. Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. C.S.T. on 05/15/2015. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
