Description

The purpose of this Market Survey is to seek competent and qualified contractors to perform all work necessary for the completion of the Fire Life Safety Upgrade at the Salt Lake City Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT )in Salt Lake City, Utah. Work includes fire resistance rated construction at ATCT second floor at sub floor Cable Chase and at ATCT/Link separation. Repair/replacement of Spray Applied Fire Resistive Material (SFRM) on steel structural members. Completion of fire resistive rated construction, and installation of through penetration fire stopping systems. The work also includes removal of combustible construction and replacement with non-combustible construction. Repair of a fusible link at a celling/floor damper. Repair the 2-hour stair shaft construction at the sprinkler piping penetrations at level 3, pipe access 307 and repair fire stopping at Cable Chase 2206 where two cable trays exit the 2-hour rated shaft. The NAICS Code for this project is: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction (SBA size standard maximum $36.5M annual receipts averaged over past 3 years) Estimated Price Range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials (except Government furnished). services, equipment, insurance bonds, security notifications, licenses, permits and fees in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local regulatory requirements to complete the specified work. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation in an informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA. Response submittals must include the following information (submittals by email): A) An overview of qualification and experience with large Fire Life Safety Upgrade projects of public or commercial buildings, as well as bonding limitations.
