THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). NO SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AT THIS TIME. THIS NOTICE SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR ULTIMATELY AWARD A CONTRACT, NOR DOES IT RESTRICT THE GOVERNMENT TO A PARTICULAR ACQUISITION APPROACH. ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THE GOVERNMENT AS A RESULT OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS VOLUNTARY. RESPONSES WILL NOT BE RETURNED. NO ENTITLEMENT TO PAYMENT OF DIRECT OR INDIRECT COSTS OR CHARGES BY THE GOVERNMENT WILL ARISE AS A RESULT OF CONTRACTOR SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES OR THE GOVERNMENT'S USE OF SUCH INFORMATION. This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only. The purpose is to procure the following items: four (4) pallet jacks, one (1) sit-down rider lift truck, one (3) stock pickers, two (2) lift trucks for the new Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) medical center located at 2400 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119. The Contractor shall provide all necessary tools, supplies, material, delivery, service and user manuals, and warranty. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION After review of the above information, interested parties may submit a response in an electronic format only via email bruce.lundvall@va.gov not later than May 19, 2015 12:00 pm CST. Electronic files should be in Microsoft Word or PDF format. ALL INFORMATION SHOULD BE UNCLASSIFIED MATERIAL ONLY. Respondents should include as part of their submission: a.A synopsis of the company's capabilities to provide qualified contracting support personnel on company letterhead. b.Company point of contact telephone number and email address. c.Socioeconomic status Any company proprietary information must be marked as such.
