- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the NAICS code 488190 (Other Support Activities for Air Transportation/ Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Services ). The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is $32,500,000.00. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project, the Government may use responses to this sources sought synopsis. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey and provide their contact information to determine market capabilities. Hurlburt Field FL is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential business sources qualified/authorized to provide Unmanned Aircraft Systems Repair. • The potential requirement will consist of repairing 11 systems and up to 30 UAS aircraft. The three systems currently in use are the Wasp AE (RQ-12A), Puma AE (RQ-20A), Raven (RQ-11B). Depot level repairs, inventory management, and shipment of all repaired items to and from the depot facility at Hurlburt Field will be part of the potential requirement. Additionally, consumable repair/spare parts to support operator training will be required.
