- AMERICAN CONSULATE GENERAL FRANKFURT Regional Procurement Support Office Giessener Strasse 30 60435 Frankfurt Germany Email: CubittDA@State.gov; FrankfurtRPSO@state.gov June 9, 2015 CORRECTED PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SGE500-15-R-0056 The American Consulate General, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Construction Renovation of Apartments in Platenstr. 11-2, 11-4, and 11-6; and, in Joachim-Becher-Strasse 6-2, 6-4, and 10-6, of the Carl Schurz Housing Area, American Consulate General Frankfurt, Germany The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Type Contract during the third quarter of calendar year 2015. This construction project is to return the Carl-Schurz Siedlung Apartment Platen 11-2, 11-4, and 11-6 back to livable apartment flats from their current arrangement as office suites. This project includes all necessary work to repair and return the apartment into a newly renovated livable apartment including a complete bathroom and kitchen renovation, window replacement, new finishes, floor replacement, door replacement, new cabinetry and heating elements, and updated electrical renovation. This project also includes kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom renovations in Joachim-Becher-Strasse 6-2, 6-4, and 10-6. The magnitude of the requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000 U.S. Dollars for the entire project renovation. RPSO intends to issue the Solicitation Package in July 2015 and Proposals will be due thirty (30) days thereafter. A Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Survey will be held ten (10) days after release of the solicitation; exact date to be announced. Contract award is expected in August / September 2015, with a contract start date 15 days after contract award. Companies interested in the solicitation should express their interest by written correspondence, by July 9, 2015, to the above two email addresses and MUST include the following information: Name of Company, Telephone and Email Address of Point of Contact and Complete Physical and Mailing Address of Company. In addition, the names of those attending the conference must be provided - numbers will be limited to two persons per company. Attendance to the Pre-Proposal Conference is not mandatory; and, is at the Vendor's own expense. The solicitation documents will not be posted on FedBizOpps, or any other internet website. Only those companies that request a copy of the solicitation by the established deadline will receive the solicitation documents and the Request for Proposal. The Solicitation will only be available in the English language; all translations will be at the Vendors own expense. Solicitation and award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America and is being competed utilizing full and open competition procedures.
