- Description
- Attachment: Replay Capability Questionnaire The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) is seeking information on the current capabilities that are available from Radiation Portal Monitor (RPM) vendors that enable evaluation of the system’s performance via replay analysis. This Request for Information (RFI) is based on capabilities that DNDO anticipates being incorporated into future RPM procurement solicitations. It is anticipated that RPM vendors may currently have some form of replay capability available. This ability allows evaluation of alternative parameter setting scenarios using existing system data, or synthetic data generated through modeling. DNDO anticipates utilizing the replay tool to project the detection performance of the RPM under alternative parameter settings and operational scenarios. In order to generate scenarios involving synthetic data there will be a need for sensor response functions to be available. Leveraging information gathered from the attached questionnaire, DNDO may hold a future Industry Day discussion focused on replay tool capabilities and response function-related items.
