Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement with Exelis, Inc. The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. Current through FAR FAC 2005-82 effective 8 Jun 2015. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334511. The following will be procured as follows: Exelis SP-500 Single Channel Processor Spare Unit Qty: 1 The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 41. U.S. C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit their interest and capability to the contract specialist below not later than, 30 Jun 15, 10:00 a.m., Pacific Standard Time. Based upon the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
