- This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to assess the commercial marketplace for document destruction services in the State of Hawaii (islands of Oahu, Big Island, Maui, and Kauai). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 561990 with Small Business size of $11 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs is contemplating a firm-fixed price contract for up to five years in duration for document destruction services. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. Please read through the DRAFT PWS before responding to this notice. If your company provides document destruction services, please provide the information requested below: 1.Company Name 2.Company Duns & Bradstreet Number 3.Socio-economic Status (e.g. large business, small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, etc.) 4.Point of Contact with Name, Email Address, and Telephone Number 5.Copy of your NAID certificate 6.Description of your ability to provide document destruction services on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island. 7.If you are a small business and intend to sub-contract, please indicate whether you are able to comply with FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting. Please provide the information to Nicole Do at Nicole.do@va.gov by 4:00 PM PST on July 10, 2015. If you have questions pertaining to the DRAFT PWS, please email those questions nicole.do@va.gov. Questions/comments are welcomed as the document is a DRAFT and subject to change based on industry input. If you are responding as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). All Contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov).
