Pharmacy: CAI (glove box), 2 chemo hoods Biological Safety Cabinets, 2 horizontal flow hoods b.Number 0016 i.No information is given on equipment type; is this a clean room certification and if so should the quantity be 2 so it adheres to semi-annual certification standards? Yes ii.How many pharmacy clean rooms and ante rooms need to be tested? For Pharmacy: One ante room, one chemo room, one IV compounding room (all attached in one location) c.Number 0073 i.No information is given on equipment type whatsoever, could this information be provided? Yes - Biomed should be able to provide this d.Number 0078 i.Is the quantity based on the number of contact plate tests per month? What does the solicitation state? e.Allentown Microvent- i.Could more information be given on this type of equipment as the manufacturer produces numerous types with different certification guidelines that will influence our pricing? Biomed should be able to supply the information on the types of hoods used. 2.Is there a way for the facility to provide a quantity list for equipment type not broken down by manufacturer or location? Biomed should be able to provide this list. a.If this is not available, are we to assume all "Biological Safety Hoods" to be Biological safety cabinets in our bid? For Pharmacy's equipment, Yes
