- The Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay (JTF-GTMO), Cuba, has a requirement for the purchase and installation of satellite dish(es) for Free to Air (FTA) programming. In order to ensure that interested vendors adequately understand the requirement, JTF-GTMO will be hosting a site visit at the United States Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (GTMO), Cuba, from 18-21 August 2015. Vendors shall make flight, lodging and vehicle rental arrangements to arrive at GTMO, Cuba, on 18 August 2015 and to depart on 21 August 2015. This will allow interested vendors to in-process and to get settled into GTMO prior to the site visit that will take place on 19 August at 9:00 a.m. Interested vendors will be expected to inspect the site and take the measurements required to determine the best location for the satellite dish(es) and to determine installation requirements, such as amount of cabling and any Government site preparation that might be needed prior to installation. A maximum of two (2) attendees will be permitted per vendor. Attendees must be U.S. citizens and have a valid U.S. passport. All interested vendors shall RSVP to SSG Johnson, Catherine-Tehila no later than close of business 17 July 2015 by sending an e-mail at catherine.t.johnson@jtfgtmo.southcom.mil with the following information for each attendee: Company Name, cage code or DUNS number Company Address Name, telephone number, and E-mail address of participant This project includes the following requirements: Satellite dish(es) and associated equipment for Free to Air (FTA) programming On-site installation DISCLAIMERS AND IMPORTANT NOTES This information is being made available for planning purposes only. There will not be a formal posting of any comments received, but they will be considered by the Government and may be incorporated into the final RFQ. This is not a solicitation announcement. When a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the FedBizOpps website. It is the responsibility of potential offeror's to monitor the site for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
