- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to maintain aggregate surface of FS134 on the Northern Hills Ranger District in the Black Hills National Forest, South Dakota. The project consists of periodic grading of approximately 25 miles of existing roadway, three times a year (two times for base year). Maintenance includes: slide and slump repair, ditch and drainage structure cleaning, surface blading (blading will be an appropriate depth to remove washboards), and providing road maintenance signing for public safety in compliance with provided specifications and the latest version of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). There are no Government furnished supplies or materials. CONTRACT TIME: This contract awarded will consist of one (1) base year of 2015 and two (2) option years of 2016 and 2017. The estimated start date is 9/15/15. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $75,000 and $150,000. PROJECT LOCATION: Tinton Road (FS134) located on the Northern Hills Ranger District of the Black Hills National Forest, Lawrence County, South Dakota. FS134 is approximately 3 miles south of Spearfish, SD. SITE VISIT INFORMATION: A site visit will be scheduled approximately 10 days prior to solicitation close date (not mandatory). Time and date will be included within the solicitation. Location will be the Northern Hills Ranger District Office in Spearfish, South Dakota. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: Contractor must be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov for proposal to be considered for award. Bonding information will be included in the solicitation. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Solicitation AG-82X9-S-15-0019 and all related documentation will be issued via FedBizOpps and will be available on or around July 7, 2015 at the website address: www.fbo.gov
