- Description
- The US Forest Service on the National Forests of North Carolina, Nantahala Ranger District, has a requirement for a bridge replacement on Bristol Trail (TR76). Work involves removing and disposing of an existing 60' +/- trail bridge, constructing concrete abutments and placing a manufactured steel truss bridge; work for this project includes, but is not limited to, erosion control, felling trees, clearing, excavation, haul, concrete abutment construction, unloading and erecting new bridge. Project is located on the Bristol Trail (TR76) in Clay County, North Carolina. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A bid guarantee is not required. Payment bond will be required of the successful offeror. The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 22 July 2015. A site visit will be held; the time, date, and location will be listed on the solicitation.
