- Draft Performance Work Statement available for review and comment. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY: Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for delivery of an Occupation Education Program on Solar Power Technology as further defined in the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611519 (Size Standard: $15.0 million). The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The anticipated contract period shall consist of a base period from the effective date of award through 12 months, with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is currently underway to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. INSTRUCTION FOR SUBMISSION OF RESPONSE: Interested vendors having the required specialized capabilities to meet the BOPs requirement should submit a capability statement of 5 pages or less indicating their ability to perform to the Draft PWS. Specific information regarding the length and duration of the program offered (i.e., how long will it take a student to complete the program), program accreditation, and familiarity and experience with delivery of entry-level solar power technology instruction as recognized by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) should be discussed and include descriptions of recent and relevant tasks similar to the BOP's need. Capable vendors are invited to submit comments on the PWS referencing the pertinent section of the PWS to which the comment relates. Do not submit pricing information in response to this notice.
