- Solicitation W912PP-15-T-0084: Rebuild, Repair & Service Existing Hydraulic Pump Motor and Provide & Install New Backup Pump System The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the work as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as Government furnished property and services. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. The work will include disassembly and removal of existing motor, pump and all other essential components. The contractor shall re-build motor, to include bearings (dipped and baked), rebuild the pump motor assembly to include any machine work bearings, wear rings, and all other essential components to "like new" working condition. The Contractor shall clean and inspect column pipe and pump assembly. The Contractor shall provide new oil tube bearings and centralizer bearings for the column pipe assembly and a new oil drip system. The contractor shall replace the 6" foot valve on the pump bowl assembly and reinstall the pump, piping, and motor; connect discharge piping and all electrical components. The finished system shall be tested and approved for return to service. The contractor shall also analyze, design, build and place in service, a backup pump assembly system. This backup pump shall be located along side the existing pump assemblies at each end of the Operating Gallery. All accessories and piping components necessary for a full and efficient operation system shall be included. This backup system shall have, as a minimum, the same capacity as the existing system. While the pump motor is being re-built, temporary pumps shall be supplied and installed by the contractor. These pumps will transport water to the working pump and motor for placement in the Stilling Basin.
