Description
IEWTPT J&A IEWTPT is an Army Category (ACAT) III Program of Record in the production and fielding stage of the acquisition cycle. It is a Non-System Training Device (NSTD) that provides proficiency training for analysts and system operators to exploit intelligence data during training as they would in quote mark Real World quote mark operations. The program tools provide the creation of an accurate, operationally relevant data environment to train Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) personnel and processes. It provides the commander with required, executable, intelligence information in support of priority intelligence and training objectives. The IEWTPT enables Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWfF) training at home-station to support sustainment of critical individual and collective MI skills. It is the key enabler for MI analyst/collector and analyst and operator training and supports All Source, Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) training tasks. IEWTPT supports the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence's (USAICoE) MI holistic training strategy and includes both stand-alone and network enabled training. IEWTPT trains intelligence Warfighters by simulating and stimulating MI warfighting equipment where system operators and analysts are able to synchronize their Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) assets to exploit exercise intelligence data, and provides the commander with relevant, required, intelligence information. IEWTPT's two major components are the HUMINT Control Cell (HCC) and the Technical Control Cell (TCC). The HCC provides sustainment training in a realistic, immersive, life-like environment for military occupational specialty (35M) HUMINT collectors. The HCC allows the HUMINT collectors to rehearse tactical questioning techniques, gather information to satisfy the commander's intelligence requirements, and cross-cue other intelligence disciplines. The HUMINT collector gathers intelligence information from a virtual human while a HUMINT instructor monitors the student's performance. At the end of the tactical questioning scenario, the HUMINT collector prepares the appropriate report and the instructor provides the student assessment using automated after action review capabilities. The TCC provides Military Intelligence (MI) sustainment training for Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), and All Source Intelligence analyst training. The system creates a realistic data and information environment where intelligence collectors and analysts' access simulated training data using operational applications, toolsets, and data structure. The IEWTPT supports cross-queuing of intelligence data, encouraging collaboration among the intelligence functional areas and personnel to provide cohesive production of intelligence products. IEWTPT provides the commander with an assessment of his MI soldier's capabilities and effectiveness.
