- Amendment to incorporate submitted Questions and Government Answers: Question 1: Is there a Union labor requirement for the conduit & electrical portion? Answer: Not required; reference FAR 22.604-1(a). Question 2: Can we use sections of Flexible conduit as we see fit to aid in maneuvering in the pathway? Answer: The use of flexible conduit should be limited to areas where the use of EMT conduit is unreasonable. Submitted quotes must clearly state the conditions for utilizing flexible conduit installation instead of the preferred EMT conduit. Technical review of quotes will include the proposed conditions for utilizing the flexible conduit as an element for technical evaluation criteria as acceptable or unacceptable. Question 3: Can you please add definition to "100% Coverage... ie. do we need a view of all the exhibit cases... do we cover the small hall in front of the bathrooms? Answer: Access points into and out of rooms and all exhibits must be covered. Small hall in front of bathrooms does not need to be covered. Question 4: Is It a Stand Alone system? Answer: Yes. Question 5: The type of camera does it matter or quantity? Answer: The type of camera and the quantity is contractor's means and methods. However, the cameras and coverage must meet scope of work requirements. Additionally, the cameras should be rated for low light conditions. Question 6: Is it an IP DVR System? Answer: Yes. The video recorder shall be IP based, DIACAP approved DSSRV NVR as manufactured by PELCO. Question 7: Clarify that the hatch areas or shaded are part of the 100% coverage? Answer: Yes, hatched areas shall meet 100% coverage requirement with exception to closets and restrooms; hatched areas identified as closets and restrooms during walk-through don't require coverage. Question 8: Are the indoor cameras vandal resistant or stand housing and what is the minimum storage frame rate and resolution? Answer: Standard housing is acceptable. Minimum resolution shall be 720p with 15 images per second frame rate. Question 9: Can the Sub Contractor Come in to visit the site? Answer: Yes. Prior coordination required with contracting officer. Question 10: Is the contractor Responsible for moving the artifacts? Answer: No. Contractor is required to provide the Contracting Officer and Government team with a schedule of work; notice and coordination with Contracting Officer required 1 week prior to work in any particular area. Museum personnel will relocate artifacts and exhibits away from the work area as agreed upon between contractor and museum personnel. Contractor remains responsible for damage incurred due to negligence. Question 11: Hours of operation and the length they will have to perform the set-up? Answer: 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday, excluding Federal and State holidays. Period of Performance as per the scope of work.
