- Description
- The National Park Service intends to issue a concessions prospectus on July 21, 2015 for a concession contract for observation tower access (ticket sales) and retail at Hot Springs National Park. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that no Preferred Offeror for this contract exists. The term of the new concession contract will be for ten (10) years. In order to provide interested parties an opportunity to observe the operation, the Service will host a one day site visit on August 19, 2015. For more information regarding the specific time, reservation and starting location, please email BOTH Tracy Simmons, Concessions Management Specialist, Midwest Regional Office, (tracy_simmons@nps.gov) and Tricia Horn, Management Specialist, Hot Springs National Park (tricia_horn@nps.gov). Hard copy prospectuses are available by contacting Tracy Simmons via email to tracy_simmons@nps.gov or mail to National Park Service, Midwest Region, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68102, Attn: Commercial Services Division. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $40 for prospectuses delivered Federal Express or Express Mail, or $30 if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service and must include a delivery address. The prospectus is also available at no charge online at: http://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm. If you choose to retrieve a copy of the prospectus from the website, please notify Ms. Simmons at tracy_simmons@nps.gov so you can be placed on the mailing list to receive any modifications and other correspondence regarding this prospectus. Questions related to the prospectus must be received in writing by August 26 via email to Tracy Simmons at the email address above. Proposals must be received by the National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office, Attn: Chief of Commercial Services, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68102 by October 6, 2015 and no later than 4:00 p.m. (Central Time).
