- Description
- The U.S. Army TRADOC, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-2 (Intelligence) is responsible for managing, coordinating, and integrating the Operational Environment (OE). The OE is the composite of conditions, circumstances, and influences that affect the employment capabilities and bear on decisions of the command, and serves as a fundamental enabler of many other core functions within all of TRADOC. The TRADOC DCS, G-2 develops, verifies, validates, accredits, and provides OE products, services, and support on behalf of the TRADOC Deputy Commanding General/Chief of Staff. This process represents an authoritative, validated OE contextual baseline for TRADOC users and operational forces in the areas of training and training development; education; leader development; concept and doctrine development; and capabilities development, integration, and evaluation. The G-2 manages the development and provision of OE outputs through the command's OE Enterprise (OEE). The OEE is the Army's principal means for the delivery of common and/or consistent OE output (in the form of products, services, and/or support) across the key domains of TRADOC's mission. Under the resulting contract, the Contractor shall support TRADOC G-2 in a wide variety of efforts. The Contractor shall ensure all projects maintain consistency with each other and avoids duplication of effort within the program. The Contractor shall support the TRADOC G-2 to execute its mission as TRADOC's designated Lead for its Key Enabler, the OE, and provide support and services to TRADOC in the following functional and optional areas: (1) functional support, (2) Futures and Concepts, (3) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), (4) Training OE/OPFOR, (5) Training Brain Operation Center (TBOC), (6) TRADOC Intelligence Support Agency (TRISA) Wargaming Experimentation, Test, and Evaluation (WETED), (7) TRISA Foreign Military Studies Office (FMSO), (8) TRISA University of Foreign Military and Cultural Studies (UFMCS), (9) TRISA Operational Environment Laboratory (OEL), (10) TRISA Threat and OE Integration, (11) TRISA Knowledge Management/OEE Integration, (12) Joint ISR (optional), and (13) Socio-cultural Integration (optional).
