Description
The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). The proposed source is Satisloh North America Inc., N106 W13131 Bradley Way Suite 200, Germantown, WI, 53022. The Naval Ophthalmic Support and Training Activity (NOSTRA) has a requirement for an upgrade to their automated optical tool towers. The upgrade shall include hardware and software necessary to control, operate, and support the automated tool towers installed at NOSTRA. The upgrade shall include a backup server with all associated software. The upgrade shall include two (2) servers; of which one (1) will act as the primary and one (1) will act as the standby backup. The upgrade shall include three (3) computer clients, of which one (1) will support the Tower Management System (TLR), one (1) will support the Tower Control Computer (TSR), and one (1) will act a TSR/TLR backup. The upgrade shall include emergency backup power supplies that will support all of the computers and servers. The requirement includes installation, integration with existing hardware and on-site training. Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
