- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for bid, for the Arizona Army National Guard, for the sale and removal of bailed Cardboard and White paper, for the purpose of recycling. The Request for Bid number is W912L2-15-Q-0001. Winning Bidder is responsible for packaging, removing, transporting and recycling/disposing of bailed paper and cardboard. The Winning Bidder will have fourteen (14) days from the bid opening to pick up the bailed paper and cardboard and thirty days (30) to submit payment to: Remit To: USP&FO for Arizona ATTN: LtCol Tracy Reingruber 5636 East McDowell Road Phoenix, AZ 85008-3423 Please Make Check Payable To: quote mark US Treasury quote mark Purchaser will be required to pick up 46-1t net per bail of Cardboard and 10-1250lbs net per bail of white paper at 5636. E. McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85008. See attached SF 114A, SF 114B and SF 114C for additional information. At time of award, a Government Point of Contact (GPOC) will be identified and provided to the winning vendor for the coordination of the pickup of the Card Board and paper. The Vendor which provides the highest total price for all materials will be considered the winning bidder. Quantities of cardboard and paper listed in this solicitation may increase after bid opening. Winning Vendor is responsible for verifying with the GPOC quantities that are picked up. The Winning Vendor will provide documentation to the GPOC containing the Vendors name, drivers name and quantity of cardboard and paper picked up by the Winning Vendor. Once the cardboard and paper are in the possession of the Winning Vendor the Winning Vendor assume the liability for the proper transportation of the cardboard and paper and the proper disposal and recycling of the cardboard and paper. A site visit will be conducted on August 5th, 2015 between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00am at the recycle yard adjacent to building M5330. Point of Contact is Mr. Randy Dozer. It is recommended that you attend the site visit in order to be able to see what equipment will be needed in order to remove/load the cardboard and paper. A valid driver's license or other government Identification will be needed to enter onto Papago Park Military Installation. Bids are due by August 10th at 10:00am, Arizona local time. Failure to submit your bid on time may cause your bid to be deemed non-responsive.
