- Notice of Intent Mt. Hood National Forest 16400 Champion Way Sandy, Oregon 97055 July 29, 2015 RE: AG-046W-S-15-0048 This is not a request for Quote - This is a notice of the government's intent to issue a sole source award to the Institute for Natural Resources, Portland State University, located at P.O. Box 751, Portland, Oregon 97207, under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 (b) (1), only one responsible source is available and no other services will satisfy the agency's requirements. Region 6, Regional Office, Interagency Special Status/Sensitive Species Program, intends to procure computer data services on Oregon endangered, threatened, and sensitive plant, animal and fungi species. The data services work consists of five components: 1) Information management and data transfer, 2) Continue utilizing the Nature Serve Rank calculator tool for species assessments/rankings and posting the output/documentation of the ORBIC website, 3) Continue coordination on development of a strategy to be identified information gaps for strategic species, 4) in coordination with WHNP data snapshots provided to the agency, and 5) Utilize the Nature Serve CCVI tool to assess species vulnerability to climate change. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by August 4, 2015, 4:00 PM, PST to the Point of Contact listed below. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
