Description
This action is to announce the upcoming solicitation of a requirement to provide replacement nursing services at the Occupational Health Center, located at the Hart/Dole/Inouye Federal Center (HDIFC) in Battle Creek, MI. This procurement is an unrestrictive competition with the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code of 621399. The services shall be performed in accordance with Occupational Health Unit Standing Orders and Continuity Binder Standard Operating Procedures as well as DLA Regulations. The specifications include temporary replacement nursing services. Para. 4.0 Licenses/ Certificates/ Insurance, requires that nurses are required to maintain a current Michigan State Registered Nurse license and malpractice insurance. Contractor should be prepared to supply 2 nurses if needed, and on rare occasions, i.e. flu shot clinics, up to 4 nurses. The request for contract nurse coverage shall be through the COR via phone or email to Contractor. The staffing needs will be requested to the Contractor as far in advance as possible, except on occasions of illness. In these cases, coverage may be requested within 2 hours of start time. Nurses should be available within the course of normal working hours, which shall be defined as 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of Federal holidays. Work hours may be in increments of 4 to 8 hours per day depending on the needs of the OHC. The contractor shall send a nurse for coverage within 2 hours of notice. The program office needs to schedule and the contractor needs to invoice in 15 minute increments
