- The CFTC intends to award a single-source purchase order to Dow Jones and Company for fifty (50) licenses to Financial News, a Dow Jones & Company publication (Dow Jones). In carrying out the agency mission, CFTC requires access to real-time, diverse financial news & information. A subscription to Financial News will provide some of the information necessary to carry out the CFTC mission. In order to obtain access to the entirety of the Financial News publication, the CFTC must contract with the parent organization (Dow Jones) for exclusive licenses. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), but a notice of intent. No RFQ will be issued.
