Description

Synopsis for Solicitation number N00189-15-T-0243 (JBAB Area Rugs and Bath Mats) The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a full and open competition contract with firm fixed-price provisions for area rugs and bath mats for Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Washington D.C. buildings. The procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 “ Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and FAR Part 12 “ Acquisition of Commercial Items. A request for information (RFQ) Sought Notice (N00189-15-T-0243 associated with this solicitation was posted on 11 June 2015 to identify interested sources and obtain feedback on specifications provided. As a result of information obtained from responses to the RFI/Sources Sought Notice, this requirement will be solicited full and open. The activity ™s small business office concurs with this set aside determination. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 314110 “Carpet and Rug Mills; the Size Standard is 500 employees. The delivery date is: 60 days after date of contract. A complete Request for Quote package will be available for downloading at the NECO Website: http://www.neco.navy.mil on or about 7 August 2015. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the offeror is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
