- Performance Work Statement for Parts Cleaners The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Safety-Kleen Systems Incorporated for the procurement of the following services: The Contractor will be responsible for providing service on two Model #260 Safety-Kleen parts cleaners, Parts and Solvents once every 18 weeks. Shall include draining the recycled chamber and disposing of waste, add fluid as needed (estimated 8-10 gallons per machine), and recycle the machine to ensure proper functionality. Additionally, providing service on three Model #81 Safety-Kleen parts cleaners, Parts and Solvents once every 16 weeks. Shall include pumping out and disposing of dirty solvent, wiping down any sludge to remove all residue from tank, and fluid as needed. This requirement is conducted under FAR 13.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, to include an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide these services as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this notice no later than Friday, 13 August 2015, 12:00 PST to SSgt Matthew Word and Breysi Stephens, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ 85707. Via E-mail at Matthew.Word.1@us.af.mil and Breysi.Stephens@us.af.mil, by Phone (520) 228-5476 or Fax (520) 228-5462. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
