Description

Solicitation Copy to Submit This project involves the preparation, repairs siding and painting wood siding of a double story visitor center. The surface area is estimated to be 35000 square feet (Contractor need to measure to verify the painting surfaces). This project is located on the Mt. Baker Ranger District, of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The Heather Meadows Visitor Center is located on the Mt. Baker Highway, State Route 542 in the Austin Pass area of Heather Meadows. The area is at MP 50-54. Highway 542 is reached via Interstate 5-exit at Bellingham or State Route 9 at that heads north off of State Route 20 at Sedro-Woolley. Coordinate work at visitor center daily with the Forest Service contact, Debra Paul at 360-854-2614. All the work shall be performed Monday through Thursday. The Government's estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is 100% set aside for small business. Bonding might be required if contract price exceeds $30,000.
