Description

Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 17, South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with affiliate the University of Texas at San Antonio for purchase of services for contractor support for planning, programming and executing cost-effective grant-funded research studies for the VA Center for Improving Veterans Health Through Research in Research Service (CIVHTR) located at the STVHCS/Audie L. Murphy Division pursuant to FAR 6.302-3. The South Texas Veterans Health Care System has an affiliate agreement with the University of Texas at San Antonio already in place. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Tuesday, August 18, 2015, 4:00, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
