- The Federal Aviation Administration, Aircraft Maintenenace and Engineering Group (AJW-3472) has a brand name mandatory requirement for LED Warning Caution Lights. No equivalents permitted. The NAICS code for this effort is 335129 for "Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing" with a size standard of 500 employees. This solicitation/request for offer is available for full and open competition and does not contain a set-aside restriction. Both large and small businesses may participate. Offers must be submitted electronically by the due date and time to the contracting officer via email at janice.hammonds@faa.gov. The anticipated contract type is a purchase order. Terms and conditions are attached. In addition, This RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested offer documentation. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
