Description

The Contractor shall provide Installation and Installation Support of the approved SPALT 13199, Mk 98 Mod 6/7 Refresh for the SSP Shipboard Integration (SSI), Increment 4, Mk 98 Mod 6/7 Fire Control System (FCS) Program as defined in OD 68599 (Revision Original, Dated 16 May 2011), Program Plan for the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Mk 98 Mod 6/7 Refresh Fire Control System (FCS), and the T9001B checklist dated December 4, 2012, Training Type, Production Phase for two Land-Based facility installation (Kings Bay Trainer #1, and Bangor Trainer). The contractor shall also support the Weapons Program Coordinator (WPC) for the Mod 6 RF (Increment4) Trainer Installations and the contractor shall develop and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) for the Mk 98 Mod 6 Refresh Fire Control System (FCS). Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
