- Sole Source Justification Bill of Materials including noun and part number This is a commercial single source solicitation notice prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6 and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to obtain up to three (3) FISCHERSCOPE MMS - PC2 units and accessories in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The FISCHERSCOPE MMS - PC2 is used to conduct unique and classified Low Observable (L/O) repair training in accordance with Lockheed Martin F-22 Process Spec 5PTP TL22 in the Quality Control Requirements & Procedures Section 422 and is the only instrument that has been approved to measure thickness of the material. Fischer Technology, Inc. is the only known source of supply at this time. Interested parties may identify their interest capability by contacting the contracting specialist identified in this notice. Inspection /Acceptance: F.O.B. Destination Price will include FISCHERSCOPE MMS - PC2 and accessories included in attached Bill of Materials A determination by the Government to compete the proposed acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed in the Purchase Specification may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to James S. Vaughan. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted so that they are received at james.vaughan.6@us.af.mil no later than the response due date and time.
