- TRANSPORTATION DATA PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS IUID CHECKLIST Solicitation Number: FA8517-15-Q-00814 This is a notice of intent that AFMC AFSC/PZAAC anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Commercial Sole Source Spare Acquisition. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Type Acquisition for a One-Time Buy of the Instrument Display System (IDS), Line Test Set. The NSN is: 4920-01-616-5489GC. The P/N is: 12-1002-01. The Quantity is: Nine (9) E ach. The UxValidator, Instrument Display System (IDS) Line Test Set used to troubleshoot the instrument display system in the aircraft by simulating input voltages to each SDC displayed on the Copilot Display Unit/Pilot Display Unit (CDU/PDU) in the cockpit. This is considered unique to the HH-60G, which enables the technician to provide simulated signals to the instrument display system and then monitor the resulting signals coming back to the troubleshooting set. Based on the stimulus provided and the resulting outputs, the technician can determine whether a component is functioning properly or not. Length (IN) = 10.0000; Width (IN) = 10.7500; Height (IN) = 7.0000; and Weight (LB) = 6.5000. This acquisition is Sole Source to: ULTRAX AEROSPACE, INC., LEE'S SUMMIT, MO 64064 (Cage Code: 07PR7). Delivery is: 8 May 2016. Early Delivery is acceptable. The issue date for the Solicitation will be approximately 19 August 2015 with a Quote Due Date of 4 September 2015. The RFQ will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
