Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul, Minnesota District has a requirement for a project entitled: Lock and Dam 1 roof replacement. The work site is in Minneapolis, MN (Hennepin County). The work involves the removal and replacement of the existing Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roofing system and the removal and reinstallation of the existing pedestrian walkway grating and support beams on the Lock and Dam 1 Utility Building. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238160; Roofing Contractors with a small business size standard of $15M. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is set-aside 100 percent for small business. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Quotes will be due approximately 14 days from the date the solicitation is issued, however, the 14 day time frame is an estimate and subject to change. The definitive quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued. No CD's or hard copies will be available.
