- Description: NSN 2530-01-568-4462 - PARTS KIT, SHOE BRAKE being bought in accordance with AM GENERAL (34623) P/N 5717285-SP, WILWOOD ENGINEERING (04XS7) P/N Z-150-10479-PS, AMERICAN FRICTION TECHNOLOGIES (4C2Q4) P/N 100-5000 and all related data. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The required quantity is 8426 kits with a 200% option that may or may not be exercised at time of award to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. FOB Origin and inspection at Origin is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about the issue date of 09/03/15. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. This solicitation is being issued as a 100% small business set aside. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance. Reverse auction procedures may be utilized in final determination of price. The required delivery is 120 days. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
